All in CARAVANING 2018 (AIC 2018) will move to the Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center (Beijing) during June 22-24, 2018. On the afternoon of November 29, 2017, the AIC 2018 press conference was held at Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center (Beijing), the new site for AIC. This press conference marks AIC’s inaugural appearance with a new look, after the strategic decision to change venue, attracting attention in the industry.
A large gathering of distinguished guests attended the conference, including Mr. Sheng Licheng, Member of the Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), Mr. Stefan Koschke, Project Director for Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, Mr. Axel Bartkus, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, Ms. Tian Qun, General Manager of China National Travel Service Group Corporation, Mr. Fang Dehe, Secretary-General of China Association of Automotive Manufacturers Recreational Vehicle Industry Committee, Mr. Liu Hanqi, Secretary-General of China Tourism Automobile and Cruise Association (CTACA), Mr. Zhang Peiwu, Chairman of Beijing Etrong Science, Technology and Culture Co., Ltd., Mr. Yang Xiaoyu, General Manager of the Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center (Beijing), Mr. Gong Tiejian, General Manager of Beijing b9rei Culture Industry Development Co., Ltd., and other leaders and representatives from the government, the organizer and the Center. Meanwhile, the press conference also invited over a hundred of people, including representatives from partner organizations and exhibitors, such as Ms. Zhang Fangxuan, Market Director of Dreamaker, Mr. Wang Youming, CEO of Reneighbor Education, Ms. Chen Yuan, Market Director of Fumubang, and Ms. Xiaoxue, Project General Manager of Chengmaqinzi, the exclusive ticket partner.
Mainstream media outlets and industry media outlets, including Beijing TV Station (BTV), Xinhuanet, Chinanews, CCTV, China.org, Huanqiu, Sohu, Xcar, BJCanKao and FBLIFE, reported onsite and witnessed AIC’s official entrance into the brand-new 6.0 development era.
Mr. Axel Bartkus, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., gave a welcome speech, emphasizing the key reason behind AIC’s decision to change the exhibition site: “Given the booming market demand and the continuously expanding exhibition area, we need a broader display platform to develop AIC into a bigger, more diversified and more comprehensive trade show. Seen from the perspective of location and professional facilities, the Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center is our best choice,” he said confidently.
Later, Mr. Sheng Licheng, member of the Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of BDA, delivered a speech, expanding on BDA’s overall development plan and its geographic and resource advantages and summarizing BDA’s achievements in recent years. Speaking of AIC’s move to BDA - Sheng expressed belief that it opened new prospects and more cooperation opportunities to develop the region’s outdoor tourism and promote the new lifestyle of caravanning and camping.
Six Themed Highlights Present Different Aspects of RV Culture
Ms. Du Yujia, Deputy Director of AIC Project, introduced to the guests the overall concept and estimated scale of AIC 2018, and explained the division of exhibition areas. In 2018, AIC will provide a trade and exchange platform for over 700 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors at an exhibition venue of 35,000 square meters. As AIC is about to step into the 6.0 era, the following six Themed Highlights should not be missed:
1. AIC + New Venue
AIC’s move to the Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center (Beijing) provides convenient traffic conditions and facilities along with 40,000 square meters indoor display area and over 10,000 square meters of outdoor space.
2. AIC + RV Fans
The Camping Zone for RV fans will be introduced and the first AIC RV fan club will be held to gather caravan fans across the world at AIC.
3. AIC + Family Activities
The AIC Family Festival will launch a series of science and technology, education, culture and entertainment programs along with carnivals and other interesting activities for parents and children to experience caravan and camping life in a lively atmosphere.
4. AIC + Food
AIC 2018 will join hands with various companies to launch a food festival, giving caravan fans and visitors the opportunity to enjoy authentic cuisines and wines from Germany with snacks from Beijing.
5. AIC + Outdoor Activities
An outdoor camping experience area will be established to hold various outdoor activities, such as rock climbing, fishing, rugby, and cycling.
6. AIC + World Cup
AIC will dedicate a World Cup live broadcast zone for football fans to celebrate the 2018 event. Concurrently, AIC will organize a friendly Sino-German football match.
